               As the "Korean Wave" spread all over the world, also kwon as "hallyu:, overseas fans of Korean pop culture are increasing dramatically. So now the number of overseas fans are estimated about 3.3 million. They distribue in some 20 regions, and there are 182 hallyu fan clubs. The Ministry of Culutre introduce some fan clubs. France fan club, "Kore Connection" which demonstrate in extention of SM town Paris festival on last june, " Turkey fan club, "Korea Fans" which have 40 thousand fans, broadcast Korea radio and publish Korea magazine. A ministry official said "Overseas fan clubs of Korean pop stars are playing a 'flying column' role in spreading the boom of Korean pop culture. Rather than being simple consumers, they're organizing Korean culture festivals," (Korea Herald). They want to encourage them to spread more, and "hallyu" can be developing even with Korea traditional culture.
               I thought K-Pop is just our culture and this might not be international. But I was wrong. Now "Korean Wave" is more spreading to Europe, South-east Asia and America (Korea Herald). I'm proud of our culture as a Korean. I should try to publicize our culture, excellenc of "hallyu".

Windows OS VS Mac OS

           Which one do you want to choose between Windows OS and Mac OS. Have you ever used Mac-operating computer? Most people use Windows-operating computer. These days, Mac-operating computer users are increasing gradually since Apple computer had invented.

           Windows and Mac have a few similarity. These are an innovative devices ,which change the world. Everyone has a computer. People can communicate through the internet real time. Everyone can even work by using computer. Second both of these are invented, based on GUI(Graphic User Interface). So this make people more convenient to use computer than DOS. In other words, the icon make them use computer intuitively.

           The other hands, Windows and Mac OS have some difference. Both of these are based on GUI. But Mac OS has rocket dock which make application accessed more easily. Second, Mac OS has pretty useful basic application, for example, iLife including iPhoto, iMovie and Garage Band. Of course Windows OS has window media player and word pad. But these are less useful than Mac application. Finally Mac OS has no virus and an error. So it doesn’t need to update vaccine program everyday like Windows OS.

           Sometimes I’d like to keep using Windows OS. I am accustomed to using Windows OS. But Mac OS has a lot of strength to live a smart life. So I prefer to use Mac OS, even though Mac computer is more expensive than Windows computer.

Between Dae-gu and Bu-san..

          I've been Bu-san with my friends, Park and Yoon, 3 years ago. It's been a long time. We saw Hae-woon beach, Gwang-an bridge and visited Dong-baek island. While I was remembering my journey, I got some curiosity about how different Dae-gu is. Because I have a friend who lived in Dae-gu. They said people who live in Dae-gu and who live in Bu-san are inhabiting same province. But they are kind of different.
          First, They have different specialty because of the topography. Dae-gu is located in basin surrounded by mountains. Temperature of Dae-gu is high and Dae-gu is humid. So they had had a bright red apple. On the other hand, Bu-san is located in the south-east coast of South Korea. So Pu-san is famous for seafood market. Their specialty is sea squirt, sea cucumber etc.
          Second, They have a lot of festival which many people can enjoy. Dae-gu have a textile festival every spring and fall, like a Dae-gu collection, Han-bok fashion show etc. This festival encourage Dae-gu textile industry to grow up in the world. and Bu-san have a famous festival, Bu-san international film festival every year. They have a lot of film which a famous direct make. Many people gather to enjoy this festival.
          Finally, They use same type of dialect. Two cities are located in same province. So they have same dialect. Of course, they have a subtle difference which Seoul people can't distinguish. But They are using almost same thing.
          This time I can compare and contrast two cities. Dae-gu is famous for an apple, Bu-san is famous for seafood. They are located in same province. And they have a exciting festival which people love. I have just been Bu-san. So I feel I want to travel Dae-gu someday.

Telling a lie will go down your Trust

          You might want to live a life truly. I mean you need to have nothing to hide in your life. Although you might seem to be okay and you’ve not done that on purpose, you will be painful at the conclusion if you go against your conscience by telling a lie.

 

          First, Does it really minimize your risk other people get involved in? This is not only your problem, but your family or friend problem. The more you tell a lie, the more your faith will go down. And the risk will be more complicated and tangled. This is why the risk will not minimize.

          Don’t you think it just excuse for yourself not doing what you have to? It makes you have a bad habit. It can be your bad habit. You're telling a lie to your friends, family, professor before you know. This is very important point. Because white lie will cause a complicated problem.

          Does it look better than before you don’t tell a lie? It seem to be OKay. But that's not true. This is going to cause the other problem you can't expect.  Suppose you have an opportunity by telling a lie, for example, not a fact but white lie. Then if you make any slip of tongue, you make it worse than before you did. 

          If you tell a lie when you get in trouble, the level of your trust will go down before one knows. Whenever you tell a lie before you know, you will be damaged by heaps of fake word you did. Because people won’t trust your word any more like the lying shepherd. And even if people don’t know you did a lie, it finally will show up to your family, friends etc. Because lying might become to be your habit and you can’t realize what you are doing by telling a lie. Even you use that sometimes. Do not use a word you can’t be responsible for. There is no secret in the world.

Do you think white lie is necessary?

     What do you think telling a lie is? is it good or bad for living a normal life. is it necessary for getting along with people? most people tell a lie to their family, friend, teacher all around. but they are not always doing on purpose. sometimes people have no choice to say fake thing.
     As people are doing that, they can minimize a risk which is caused by their realtionship. for instance, your girlfriend call you to hear your voice. but you want to play computer game instead of calling to her. then you can tell a white lie. you have something to do before. this is a very minor thing but  very important!!
     Second, you can avoid your mother scolding you. let me show you another example. After you had an exam, you might receive a report card. but you didn't study at all. and you were getting nervous. you can't help telling a white lie for next A+-report card.
     The last thing is, you can make a situation be better. after you got involed with your friend's argument, you have no idea whether you take sides or not. and you want to get back together again. then you may have a opportunity to make up their embarrassament by telling a lie to your friends respectively. both of them want to get back together.
     Anyway, a white lie make something seem to be fine. the most important thing is you must not do this by affecting people who you tell a lie badly. that's is the point of a white lie. althogh it is true that you are not going to tell a lie at all. sometimes it works for ambiguous situation if you don't abuse telling a lie.

Scary story you've never heard before

     There is a saying people see what they expect to. for example, if someone who were frightened
by circular thing ; damaged or memorized by something see a caldron lid, he or she will be
scared, nervous. I can say this is sort of optical illusion. I'm going to tell you about story which I've heard from my friend.
      This is about military happening. in his company of front line, he is so realistic that he have never believed exsitence of ghost. he loves doing workout, he is masculine so we called him muscle guy or brave man.
      One day it was so dark, deeply foggy that anyone can be identified, anything can be seen.
he was really exhausted because he had had extremely hard military training.
and it had been heard of a missing woman near by front line. she had been disappeared for a long time.
that day his boss warned to concentrate on their duty. they considered failure in duty.
because they had gotten training.
      They were working in two shifts at guard post. when it was his turn, he was on duty at midnight alone. his senior soldier fell asleep and he can only listen cricket's cry. he was so boring and his eyes were being closed. at that time, he could find something white. he was so scary then he had his senior wake up. his senior soldier and my friend couldn't see anything. his senior were upset for him to wake up. my friend had no way to prove what he saw. he was embarrassed and nervous. he become to want to know what it is. he did concentrate on the front then he saw again! he wouldn't believe that.
       Suddenly the white thing came up to him slowly. he urgetly called headquarter and woke his senior up again. all soldier of company were ordered to move to that place. my friend and his senior started to fire
toward the white thing.
      After firing, all the reinforcements from company, my friend and his senior get to know it was
white deer. everyone gave a hollow smile. my friend got shocked and he worried about fake report.
but he was only private first class, his boss tolerate his fault. therefore he just was forced to
stop his break 5 days.
      This happening taught him a lot of thing. don't be hasty. to be more careless, to have patience. although my friend was getting nervous, when I heard this story, it was funny. how embarrasing story! this story is scary and a little empty. one of story I've heard
